A Note to John,

Go shopping,
We really need some food,
Then buy that present,
For my auntie in a mood.

You need to clean the bedroom,
Hoover round the carpet,
Wipe all the windows,
And visit neighbour Margaret.

The weeds in the garden,
Really are distressing,
You need to make the salad,
Don’t forget the dressing.

Go pay the deposit,
On that shiny blue new car,
Maybe you could walk there,
It isn’t very far.

You could always do this,
When I am away,
Go buy me a new suit,
Don’t forget to pay.

It doesn’t matter anyway,
Because I’m only joking,
I did all these jobs,
When you went to work at Woking.
